Birthday

Our birthdays are shortly after each other (we are both crayfish) and it is first my (Helena's) turn. We rarely make a big deal of birthdays, but we still took the opportunity to drink some bubbly and eat some luxurious picnic food, with cold cuts, melon, cheeses and some Västerbotten pie.

"Why don't we have a photo for the blog?" said Peter.

"In this old T-shirt?"

"Yes, we should just be ourselves on the blog."

"Yes, ok then!"

Sunsets

If you follow us on @freedomtravelnews You've already seen these sunset photos on Instagram, but we're sharing them here on the blog too. The view from our houseboat in the evenings is absolutely stunning sometimes! Some evenings it feels like the sky burn.

Sweden is amazing, isn't it? Seriously, we love exploring Europe, but now we're adjusting to the situation. And yes, there is a lot to see and experience in Sweden! Man can indeed travelling to some countries now, but we are in no hurry. We prefer to follow developments for a while first. This could be a great opportunity to discover our own country.

Best this week

The best part of this week was our lovely motorhome trip to Sikh helmet, Lingnåre cultural reserves and Ängskärs havscamping. We are also pleased that another new product has been added. web shops. It will be so exciting opening the shop after the holidays! What can you highlight as positive from your week?

The week ahead

This weekend we are embarking on a new motorhome tour along the coast. We will visit several interesting places, which we will of course tell you about. Then we will get ready for the summer holiday trip along the Göta Canal. Don't miss it!
