Glorious Halland

Halland is really lovely, with the slightly wild west coast and the sea present almost everywhere. I (Helena) spent the summers of my childhood in Halmstad and Tylösandso this is also a bit of 'home territory' for me.

We have now had time to visit Halmstad, Falkenberg and Varberg, and then continued to Kunsgbacka. So far there have been four reports from Halland. Funny with all the reactions to the post about Gekås Ullared by the way - it seems to be a destination that evokes emotions!!!

We have also experienced a lot that we have not had time to write about yet. Some will come in the next few days - others we will save until we get home.

Great season for travelling

We like travelling at this time of year. It's still reasonably warm during the day (at least some days - the weather changes!), but it's a bit quieter at the sites and attractions. On weekends the sites are still crowded, but on weekdays it's pretty quiet.

A lot of things are still open, but unfortunately opening hours are becoming a bit limited. Some sights are only open at weekends, and it's impossible to plan to be there at the same time. all places just on weekends ...

The Grimeton radio station, which is one of the Sweden's world heritagewas one such example. It would have been interesting to visit this place "for real", but since they are now only open on weekends, we had to settle for the playground. (Which in itself was very funny, haha, and also completely free of children at the moment, so we could have it to ourselves ... )

New home page structure - more focus on Sweden!

We are certainly among those who have discovered Sweden during this pandemic. There are so There's a lot of amazing things to discover in our country - we've seen a lot and we still have a lot to see. It has felt natural to sort all our Sweden reports under each landscape, and now we have also highlighted these landscapes on the home page.

When you want to get tips on experiences and sights, just click on the desired landscape! We have highlighted 6 that are visible, and you can find the others by clicking on the "See more landscapes" button. So far, there are not a lot of tips in northern Sweden (we'll add more as time goes on!), but you'll find lots of reports from Uppland and southwards.

Best this week

The best thing about this week is that we can still be out and about in our beautiful Sweden. We have also had a week with really nice weather, wonderful! Your turn ... what has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

We continue to roll with the motorhome, but do not (right now) get as far as we had originally intended. In a week we have to be home to take care of a few different things: work, parcel collection and a birthday celebration among other things. Then we hope to go on another motorhome trip, again to the west coast, before the season is over for this time!
