It's an ordinary Wednesday evening, but you only live once, right? Tonight we had lamb fillet with baked root vegetables for dinner. Really luxurious and really, really good!

Lamb fillet in the oven

When cooking lamb fillet in the oven, it is important to use a thermometer. The lamb is perfect when taken out at 54 degrees centigrade. The meat is then wrapped in foil and left to "rest" for ten minutes to become perfect.

Oven-baked root vegetables

Potatoes, parsnips and carrots are fantastic in the oven, as are onions and whole small garlics. We like to buy those round little garlics that are just a single clove - they are very tasty and creamy when you bake them in the oven!

Accessories

Some ready-made hummus and a red wine (Bergström!) and dinner is complete... Wishing you a nice Wednesday evening!
