Swedish campsites have received their stars

All 450 SCR-affiliated campsites in Sweden have been awarded their stars. There are now a total of 11 5-star and 90 4-star campsites in Sweden.

Best family campsite chosen

Every year, Barnsemester.se selects the winners of the Grand Children's Holiday Prize in different categories. The winner in the category "best campsite for families with children" 2015 is, for the second time, Röstånga camping in Skåne. In 2nd and 3rd place came Kronocamping, Böda Sand and Lysingsbadet, Västervik.

Record number of people camping in Sweden

New figures show that Swedish campsites recorded 15 million guest nights in 2014 - an increase of 1 million guest nights over the last two years. Among international guests, Norwegians are in first place, with the biggest increase seen among visitors from the Netherlands.

Gone Camping on TV8

The travel programme Gone Camping is back with season 3 and is now being shown on TV8, starting on Sunday 12 April. In this year's episode, presenter Martin Örnroth visits Småland, Åland and Åre, and puts the caravan on a riverboat in Germany.

Fritidstillbehör Sverige is expanding its range and dividing it into four departments: camping accessories, outdoors & outdoors, boat accessories and interior design & home. A new website will be launched this week.

Adria celebrates 50 years with an anniversary camper van

Motorhome and caravan manufacturer Adria turns 50 this year. To mark the occasion, they have created the Matrix 50Y Silver Collection silver car and the Adria Altea 4four caravan, which you can design yourself with the colour and pattern of your choice.

Niesmann+Bischoff wins design award

German motorhome manufacturer Niesmann+Bischoff has won the "Red Dot 2015" design award with its Flair model. Last year, Niesmann-Bischoff also received an honourable mention in the Red Dot 2014 for its Arto model.
