Sweden's elite motorhome bloggers in one place

We have just returned from the Elmia Husvagn Husbil fair, where we spent a whole week. Perhaps the most fun part of this week was all the people we met. Among other things, we met a whole bunch of wonderful motorhome bloggers. Several of them we have followed for many years, but this was in many cases the first time we met for real.

Many motorhome bloggers on site

A lot of motorhome bloggers were at the Elmia exhibition this year. We came to the conclusion that it must be that a large part of "Sweden's motorhome blogging elite" was there, and we actually got a meeting outside our motorhome on Saturday. Not everyone could be at that meeting and I didn't really get a picture of everyone (there was so much going on and so many impressions), but a bunch of them were captured anyway.

We met Anette and Göran from Motorhome criss-crosswho also invited us home for a very nice evening with picnic food and wine in his fine Carthago. Several times we met the happy and nice Nisse, who blogs at Motorhome and travelling.

He helped out as an official at the Elmia fair, and we have to say that the Caravan Club officials were fantastic and were there through thick and thin, day and night. We also finally got to meet Matts Torebring and his wife Birgitta, a blog we have followed for a long, long time. Fantastically fun meetings!

Many more motorhome bloggers came forward and made themselves known at our table at the fair. We met Nilla and Micke from the lively blog Our motorhome holidays (and yes, they were just as happy and nice for real!). We also got to meet the somewhat "secret" couple from the blog! Hobby on the road - They have never shown themselves on the blog - but now you can see them here!

I had a nice chat with Lennart from Lennart's thoughts. We also had a chance to talk to Ann-Sofie and Lennart from Always on the move and with Arne from Gila motorhome. Arne and his wife Inga-Lill haven't updated the blog for a while, but they will soon be travelling to France. Then we can probably look forward to some new blog posts!

We met Aila from Liberty's familyand it was a nice reunion since we had met at other fairs before. I also got a chance to chat with Torgny from Ulla & Torgny on an adventure, who helped us with tips and advice when we had LPG problems during our trip around Europe. Last but not least, we met the lovely couple behind the blog. Motorhome Helgenamely Bengt and Ingela.

Other bloggers - and a bubbler

There were not only pure motorhome bloggers present. Johan, who guided us through the caravans at the fair, blogs about mobile accommodation on Caravanum. Alexandra blogs about travelling, everyday life and training on her blog Tenderlyn. You might remember that she was a guest on our blog a while ago and told us about family camping in tents and caravans, including in Australia? They are curious about getting a campervan themselves and were looking at a Volkswagen California.

Finally, here's a bubbler. Rico has no blog at all, but if we are lucky he will start one. He read our blog post about our favourite motorhomes at Caravan Stockholm and was inspired to buy a Globe-traveller flatbed. Now he has sold the house and is preparing the last things to go on a 2 year trip in Europe. He's thinking of blogging during the trip - and we think he should, don't we?
