Ok, now it's Peter at the wheel. I don't know why but I'm always late in changing tyres, and some things you never learn. I have to have something to look forward to too, haha. When we left the Czech Republic, they said it was two minus in Sweden, oops, no good, now it will be an airport bus and leave the car at Arlanda. NOW IT MUST BE ENOUGH!
We already have a motorhome in Kristinehamn and now we're going to have the next one at Arlanda, no problem. We came home from the Czech Republic on Sunday evening and saw that it had snowed, but it was wet on the roads and I had good summer tyres, so one of the two is going home.
What is this?
It is not very often that there is ice on the roads in Stockholm and I mostly go shopping for food, otherwise it is the metro that applies. Now I will be very clear. This is a paid cooperation, and we stand for this cooperation.
I myself have sent for tyres from tyre-outlet.se and it was cheap and the tyres arrived in four days. There are all kinds of tyres for cars, trucks, motorhomes and motorcycles and the tyre company is the biggest in Europe so I can't lose.
Good tyres online
I searched online and my tyres made me a lot of money. I paid by bank as usual like all online purchases. There are all kinds of tyres and even for birds? Haha, noooo!
Recommending something such as an app, a phone card, a new product at ICA or a tyre when it's good, feels perfectly fine to me if I've tried it myself.
If you are also the biggest in Europe and have received awards for your idea, that's even better. I am happy with a good deal and I want to share it with you.
What do you do when it comes to tyres?

My owners are as late as you to put winter tyres on their cars, yet they know that cold and winter comes every year... 🙂 .
I got new summer tyres before being taken to Winteride and the owners bought from Popgom and they are very happy with the delivery time and service.

Earn by shopping?! 😉
Have our tyres at the local tyre dealer who stores & changes and sells tyres. Costs a little more than the online shops but is convenient and worth it for us.
So far, no winter tyres for the cabin car, but that will probably happen in the future.

Yes Peter, so far I/we have bought tyres from our local tyre shop,
good service and pleasant behaviour are the key words.
However, it is possible that this may change,
price is important and soon the Internet will be the cheapest.
If you live in Norrland, you usually change to winter tyres in time 😉.
Not much in the way of public transport here... a bit far from the metro 😉.

We do not change the motorhome but the car gets unstudded winter tyres. No now I lied - it's not "we" but usually the very good car guy H who lives with our daughter 🙂 .

I have been buying tyres online for several years for my motorhome and small car. I did not know about DÄCK-OUTLET.SE.

Here in the UK we don't have winter tyres, unfortunately! So we don't change them as often as in Sweden. We have a friend with a tyre company here in town, so of course we give him work when needed.

Since I no longer drive a car myself, my task is to make sure that D changes to winter tyres in good time before the slippery weather comes to stay and I never neglect such an important task. I am also a northerner so it is also in the blood When I was still in good shape, I changed the tyres myself. We buy new tyres through the local workshop where we also service the Jeep.
However, it is true that today you can do really good/better business through research on the Internet. However, one should not ignore the value of an existing local offer and local service. More important in the countryside than in the big city, of course.

Winter tyres are not used here, but they SHOULD be,
because every time it snows, the roads become chaotic.
Cars slide on downhill slopes and can't get up to the top.
uphill. There are a lot of cars around here,
because people drive to work.
Schools will be closed if there are a few centimetres of snow; believes
not that even school buses have winter tyres!

A long time ago, my eldest, also called Peter, told me that he had bought tyres online, which were delivered directly to the workshop for fitting. He could have put them on too, but he didn't have time.
My husband and I always changed tyres together, so I can do that, but I don't think I have the strength now, even though I'm training with the physiotherapist 😀.
Now I have a tyre hotel that takes care of everything. Smoothly.

Can't help but laugh here. You really have "It" when you express yourself - like "Let me be very clear. We have been paid for this post and some things we stand for."
I continued to smile for a while when I realised that it was not "handy Peter" who put on the winter tyres himself but a tyre shop.
I myself have my little workshop in Viggbyholm that stores the tyres and puts them on in spring/autumn. Have also bought the tyres there. You should favour the local business community as well;-)

We haven't changed the tyres on the car for over 10 years. Yes, except once when we changed from summer tyres to new, less worn summer tyres.
The times we go to Sierra Nevada and can risk snow, we have snow socks for the car. Had to use them once, and it worked really well! 🙂

We change to winter or studded tyres and have a company do it for us. The tyres live in a hotel, which is very convenient 😀.

Hello All you lovely people inside the jar. I had so much to do today so now at 20:00 I am sitting at the computer. It has been everything from lectures, seminars, meetings that have succeeded each other. Fun and rewarding.
You really think it's nice to favour your local tyre guys and you can afford it and how nice that it can be so. My tyres that I sent for cost 2.500 SEK less than the best price in Sweden for the same tyres. I thought it was worth sending for my tyres and I have great respect for money. To BP, I got rid of my jack and the tyre company charges 200 to change the tyres so I had no choice, haha. Of course I would have done it otherwise even though I was much better off. What I can do myself I earn money from and I can invest it in us.
Thanks for great comments everyone in the jar. Peter.

Our motorhome has unstudded Michelin winter tyres. Our four-wheel drive Hyundai has a brand new, maximally studded Continental tyre, even though it doesn't need it. I myself would never put on a cheap tyre. I did it once and drove three km, before changing back to a Michelin tyre. On the work cars it was very expensive this year. On these there is a kind of valve that sends a signal to the instrument panel if the air pressure drops. A whole 500:- extra per wheel = 26 000:- in total for 13 cars in extra expenses.

Matts Torebring: I'm not talking about buying cheap tyres online. I'm talking about buying directly from the manufacturer without intermediaries. The company in Hannover makes most of the tyres in the whole of Europe and there are probably your tyres there too but cheaper.
Deciree: Of course you have winter tyres and I don't buy anything from Jysk. I just have no intermediaries and that's exactly what I want. Say hello to the old man:-)
