Bertahof Camping - near Bad Gastein

In Austria in the neighbourhood of the classic ski resort Bad Gastein you will find Bertahof Camping. This campsite is less than ten minutes by car from Bad Gastein. If you don't feel like cooking after a day on the slopes, this campsite also has a popular restaurant. There's also heated space to store your ski equipment.

Camping Seiser Alm - close to Alpe di Siusi

Camping Seiser Alm in the Italian Alps is a 4-star campsite located just a few minutes from the ski resort of Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) which is part of the large Dolomiti Superski ski area. There's also a bus stop just outside the area so you can easily hop on a bus to get directly to the ski lift. Another big plus for this campsite is that it's located in a fairly flat area and offers 80 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails.

Camping Ötztal Längenfeld is a highly rated 4-star campsite located about 15 minutes' drive from the popular Austrian ski resort of Sölden. A big advantage of this campsite is that they have a free shuttle service, which also runs every ten minutes. There are plenty of cross-country skiing trails here too. The campsite has its own restaurant, access to a sauna and is only a few hundred metres from the Aqua Dome Spa Centre, where you also get a 10% discount if you stay at the campsite.

Back in Italy, we find Camping Vidor Family & Wellness Resort located in the village of Pozza di Fassa which is directly connected to the Sellaronda ski area (which in turn is part of the Dolomiti Superski). This is not just a campsite, there are also hotels, chalets and apartments as well as a restaurant, spa, gym and much more.

Another campsite in Austria is Aufenfeld-Erlebnis Resort Zillertal and this is a 5-star campsite, and there are also apartments to rent here. Just three kilometres from this campsite is the Zillertal ski area which includes the popular ski resorts of Mayrhofen and Zell am Ziller. The campsite offers a free bus service to the ski area. There is also access to 125 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails from here.

Camping St. Moritz is, as the name suggests, located in the town and ski resort of St. Moritz. This ski resort is considered the oldest in the world and is also known for its luxury and splendour. Just 600 metres from this campsite is a cable car that takes you up the ski slopes. There is also a bus that takes you to other ski areas around the town.

Camping Caravaneige Le Champ du Moulin is a 3-star campsite in the ski resort of Les Deaux Alps, considered by many to be one of the best ski resorts in France. As this campsite is on the other side of the mountain from Les Deaux Alps, it takes just over 20 minutes by car to reach the village itself, but just a few hundred metres from the campsite is the Venosc cable car that takes you up the mountain and onto the slopes.
