It's finally time for Happy Friday! Long time no see, right? It has been great fun to drive around Ireland, but now it is also cosy to hang out at home for a few weeks. What a fantastic summer we have!

ShareWhat a summer heat!
First of all, what summer heat! It's not exactly news, but it's absolutely crazy. When has it ever been this hot in Sweden in May?
We're working, but we're also enjoying the summer weather here in Pampas marina. We have the windows and doors open and get out on deck as soon as we can tear ourselves away from the computers. The small boats chug in and out of the inlet and the outdoor terrace at the centre is full. restaurant K4.
New jobs
On Saturday, Peter and I go out to Ringsö in Lake Mälarenwhere our friends Lennart and Beata are building a summer house. I go home again on Sunday, but Peter stays all week and works on the house.
Speaking of jobs, my project employment ends at the end of June. I haven't had time to apply for any new jobs, but have been offered no less than four (!) different jobs. And you have to feel really happy about that, right? I have now turned down two, and hope to combine the last two. I won't be without a job in any case!

I am enjoying the sun and heat as much as I can! Love it! But if you work in an office and have a 50th birthday party to fix, you do not have time to soften with something good in the glass in the evening sun... 🙂 Fortunately, I have taken no less than three walking meetings of an hour each at work. Perfect arrangement if you ask me 🙂

Great to hear that Sweden is doing well. We are going home in June and I hope it is not too cold. Though anything but 40 degrees I can probably take now. Looking forward to the first Midsummer in Sweden in several years.

Can guarantee that it will be below 40 degrees! 🙂 Midsummer is usually chilly for some reason ... but exceptions are needed to confirm the rule!? 🙂

Congratulations on all the job offers! Here in Oslo, the weather is also super nice; really summery and warm. I have a job I have to be at from eight to half past three, but fortunately I get a lot of time to enjoy the good weather anyway. This weekend it is forecast to be up to 30 degrees. What a fantastic month of May!

Congratulations on being offered a job?must be great to feel wanted?we are not at home and can enjoy the warmth there. Krister has been working in Germany for almost 2 weeks and then we had not so good weather. Thunder and rain several days, around 15° yet far down. Yesterday we went to Lindau at Lake Constance and here it is lovely but still we have not had as hot as it is at home. Good luck with the jobs?

How lovely that sounds! You can borrow our image as long as you indicate the source, i.e. that the image comes from our blog. Technically, you can right-click on the image and choose "save as" to save it to your computer.

It's a special feeling to live on and by the water. There is always something going on.
What fun with new job offers and perfect if they can be combined and so also with travelling.
We have been in Spain with the Spanish summer cottage as a base and are fully enjoying the time as we want. A nice feeling after a long professional life. In fact, I work a little from here but I still control my days and the content. I will soon go home and work a bit but that's what I really like too.
