This week we have been living houseboat life and everyday life, with cleaning, laundry and work. In addition, there has been a lot of planning for upcoming fun - both during the coming week and in the autumn. Don't miss it!

Back home after intensive travelling
This week we have been at home in the houseboat, and it has actually been quite nice after the recent intense travelling in Skåne, the Czech Republic, Germany and Croatia ... It has also felt good to tackle all the work, both related to the blog and at my (Helena's) job in Region Stockholm.
Cleaning and laundry in the houseboat
We also did some cleaning and laundry ... Suddenly we discovered a dark and sticky stain on the carpet on the lower deck ... ugh! After some searching, we realised that a jar of some fruit syrup (?) that we got from some destination had broken. The sticky contents had then run all over the kitchen counter and dripped onto the lower deck ...
Peter has also been doing laundry this week. He dried the sheets on the deck, which was clever. (It was possibly a little less clever that he forgot the underwear when it started to rain ...).
Planning for future fun
This week, we've also spent some time planning some upcoming fun. Next week we are travelling to Estonia, and we will tell you more about that soon! You offer a wonderful mix of weekdays and travelling days, just like life.
My highlight of the week hasn't happened yet. Tonight we have a visitor and this weekend we will have a small reunion. Some of us who got to know each other in Bangkok will get together to talk, socialise and play golf. The weather is supposed to be great so it will surely be successful.

The best thing today was that after about 33 degrees in the early morning.
we got thunder and rain, and the temperature went down to 19C.
much more comfortable.
Speaking of sheets - the granddaughter changed the sheets for me this morning...
not a fun job.
I hope you were able to scrub the sticky stuff off the carpet. Not nice!

Sounds nice to just be home in the houseboat after your intense schedule! Also sounds exciting with a trip to Estonia! My week has consisted of trying to catch up with as much as possible before we travel to the US on Saturday. Will have a little limited access to the internet sometimes so have wanted to get away as much as I could. But still it feels like the last week has just disappeared!!!

The best thing was probably that we got to go on a trip here in Spain again, there is so much to see here in the country 🙂.
A bit clumsy to leave the sheets out in the rain, but worse things have happened in the history of the world 😉.

How exciting it sounds with your Estonia trip! Here we are packing the motorhome for a long weekend on Tjörn and Orust and it will be so nice after four hectic working days, when I realised how quickly you get used to being a free pensioner.....
There will be no Elmia this year. Then we are down in Spain -Portugal and when the cruise goes we go to Jordan the next day. It otherwise sounded really fun!

A good week here too, with many pleasantries and where upcoming trips, both privately and at work, have been given space. A trip to Åland with surprise elements and having the grandchildren visit are also among the best things this week. And also offers of new jobs. Great fun!

Reunion sounds fun, we'll make sure to organise it for us too. But we still have work weeks before we take a holiday v 30 then we go by bus to Vienna 1 week. We take the motorhome after that and we have talked about going to Elmia this autumn so maybe we will see you there ❤️Kram on er❤️

On Sunday we take the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn after a week in Finland. We will focus on staying on Saaremaa for a few days. Have long wanted to see if it is still true what we have read about Saaremaa. Which places should you visit.
A cruise sounds nice, but in November we have already headed south. The best part of the week has been that everything has worked well here in Finland. Now we will visit Helsinki and enjoy the city life there.

Bathing has been the best part of the week. Yes, it is probably that the owners have come a week closer to the holiday so I will soon be taken on a long trip.
