We have spent this week in the Zadar region of Croatia. It has been intensive daysbut also great fun. So, what has been the best part of the week? It's not easy to choose, but here are some highlights:
- Swimming in Croatia's crystal clear waters
- dramatic nature - high mountains, deep canyons and beautiful national parks
- All historic towns with ramparts and ancient stories
- Multiple food experiences: smoked ham, cheeses, olives and fresh fish.
Plans for the midsummer weekend
We are back home in Sweden, but we don't have any big plans for ourselves. midsummer weekend. We have bought some herring and nubbe that we plan to enjoy in the houseboat, and otherwise we will make up for some lost working hours. And no, we don't feel sorry for ourselves! After our intense journey it can be quite nice to take it easy ...

Have a really nice, and quiet and relaxing, midsummer! Croatia seems to be very nice! Have never been there. Although I have a friend who comes from there and always talked so well about his former homeland, it has not happened that we went there. Yet!

This week has been full of wonderful meetings and parties, a 65th birthday party at a renovated party site, a fun visit from "Korsotvars", a barbecue for the neighbours, a long coffee with wonderful photo club friends and now we are packing the camper van for a midsummer celebration with good friends in Blomberg on the shores of Lake Vänern.

The best part of my week has probably been the "Finland boat cruise" we took to Ibiza over the weekend, visiting the island for a couple of days for the first time.

This week it has been busy for the owners at work. Especially my male owner has a lot of different assignments that must be completed before the holidays so I have seen him come home later than usual in the evenings.
Midsummer will be a traditional celebration with my female sister's family.
