Beaver tracking, web shop and summer weather

We do beaver tracking in the Stockholm nature reserve and have started building a web shop. In addition, we are slowly planning to pick up the motorhome. Isn't that what you do in times of corona? Happy Friday!

Beaver tracking

We spend a lot of time in nature right now. It gets tiring sitting inside at the computers all day, so it's nice to get out. We are discovering nature reserve after nature reserve - oh, how many there are in the Stockholm area!

One thing we have noticed is that there are so many beavers. We haven't seen them (you have to be early and quiet), but we have seen lots of beaver dams and felled trees. It's still on my bucket list to see beavers one day, and Peter has now left. all in to empathise with their behaviour ...

New on the home page

There have been some changes to the blog's home page this week. We got help from a web developer so we can change how many posts we want to show. Right now, for example, it feels more fun to show many posts about Sweden and camping - but have less focus on "abroad". Maybe sometime in the future it will be different... Let us know what you think!

Online shop underway

Another thing that is happening on the blog is that we are planning to set up a web shop (you have to have some new projects like this in corona times). We haven't got that far yet, but we're working on it. Feel free to shout if you have any ideas, such as what you would like to see in the webshop!

Soon we will pick up the motorhome

Our motorhome is still in winter storage in Värmland. We want to pick it up soon, but we're stuck in the planning stage ... Since only Peter has a driving licence, we have to take the train, and the trip has to be synchronised with all possible people involved (whom we should preferably keep a distance of 2 metres).

When we pick it up, we want to seal the roof, among other things, after the water leak, replace a window and preferably also redo the foliation (the exterior design). We have asked several companies, but nobody calls back or gives us a quote ... You wonder if they don't want the work? Now we're thinking of doing it ourselves, but then we'd have nowhere to stand. Well, problems are there to be solved!

Best this week

The best thing this week is perhaps the fantastic weather we have had. Yesterday we took a walk along Hornsberg beach on Kungsholmen. It was probably 17 degrees and bright sunshine, and people were lying in the grass and sunbathing! Another positive thing is that we made several superfine challenges. What has been the best part of your week?

The week ahead

During the coming week we have to seriously plan to pick up and fix the motorhome. This weekend we will also write about two really nice excursions we made this week. Don't miss it!
