Seniormässan in Stockholm 3-5 Oct 2023
The Senior Fair is aimed at the 55+ target group (but younger people are also welcome of course!) and focuses on travel, health, beauty, culture, accommodation, finance, technology, care, shopping and experiences.
The fair is held annually in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö - and on 3-5 October it is time for the Senior Fair in Stockholm (at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö) Since the fair always has a strong focus on travel and destinations, we will be there with a stand and lectures.
Lots of exhibitors
Every year the Senior Fair brings together lots of exhibitors in a variety of fields. When it comes to travel, you can expect to meet shipping companies, bus tour operators, cruise lines, tour operators, destinations in Sweden and the world, as well as hotels and museums.
This year, you can meet Cyprus, Eckerölinjen, Estonia, Glasriket, Grönlandsresor, Havila Kystruten, Historiska Resor, Kulturresor Europa, Malta, MSC Cruises, Skansen, Sjöriket Kinda, Vadstena and many more.
Exhibitors' activities
Several exhibitors are organising fun activities at their stands. This year, for example, there will be writing coaching (Sverigeförfattarna), hand and nail care (Scratch of Sweden), valuation of artefacts (Stockholms Auktionsverk) and testing of various sports activities (Riksidrottsförbundet). Here you can read about all the activities in the stands. The programme will be added to as time goes on.
Interesting programme on stage
There are two stages and a packed programme. Lectures range from nuclear threats to how to keep your brain in shape, and you can meet well-known profiles such as author Björn Ranelid, antiques expert Li Pamp and fashion designer Lars Wallin.
As usual, there will also be some focus on travel, with lectures on cruises, coach travel, Estonia and Malta. You can find the full stage programme here. We will hold two lectures:
- Tuesday 3 October, Seminar stage, 10.40-11.00: Pearls of Finland
- Thursday 5 October, main stage, 10.40-11.10: Discover beautiful Åland

Come and meet us at the Seniormässan in Stockholm! We will be there 3-5 October, and you will find us at stand C05:61. You are welcome to join us to talk about travel and get travel tips, while we will offer some relaxation in a beach environment!

Facts about the Senior Fair in Stockholm 2023

- Opening hours: 10-16 every day
- Travelling here by public transport: Commuter train to Älvsjö station. From Stockholm, trains depart 8-14 times per hour, and the journey takes 10 minutes.
- Travelling here by car: Drive on the E4/E20 and follow the signs for Mässan/Älvsjö.

Last spring we took the train to Gothenburg and went to the Senior Fair. There were a number of travel companies there, but much of it was focused on retirement homes and assistive devices, so we suddenly felt a little too young.
