Winter weather has now arrived in earnest, and we must admit that we were not prepared at all. When we returned home from Bratislava, everything was frozen solid (not least the motorhome!), but at the same time we found other things to sink our teeth into, such as changing the name of our social media accounts...

Travelling here and there
We travel almost constantly, but when we travel in our motorhome, we are also ”at home.” Press trips are another matter. They are great fun, but also extremely demanding and tiring. If there is a little time in between, it's fine, but if the trips come one after the other, it can be very intense, and then we sometimes miss things (such as preparing the motorhome for the cold).
When we were at home, before Bratislava, we managed to take a short trip with the motorhome to Ekerö, where we did some of the tests with Bluetti Pioneer Na.
Another thing Peter does to relax is cooking. I don't usually take photos, but sometimes I do. Eating Peter's dinners is a bit like going to a restaurant, don't you think?
Winter weather
Suddenly, winter weather arrived! We were really not prepared, and it's possible that this is because we've been travelling so much... In any case, we hadn't set up the motorhome yet and the cold caused problems (think: water freezing, engines that won't start). We've been struggling with this mess for three days (and solved it!) and we will tell you more soon.
New names on social media
One morning this week, I woke up at 4 a.m. and thought, ”We need to change our social media name.” When we started our Instagram account in 2014, ”freedomtravel” wasn't available, and the best we could come up with at the time was ”freedomtravelnews.” This has been with us for many years, but lately I've been feeling more and more dissatisfied. The word is so long that it becomes confusing, while at the same time it is simply unclear...
We have now changed our name on social media! We are called freedomtravel.se everywhere except on YouTube, where dots are not allowed, so there we are called freedomtravel_se. You can find us on social media here:

This week: Grateful for ...
This week we have been quite stressed and tired, but at the same time we are grateful for many different things. We are grateful for the opportunity to experience the beautiful the trip to Bratislava, We are also grateful for the opportunity to have several different health checks at the health centre/hospital, which are part of the standard healthcare programme in our country. This is not something that can be taken for granted, and we really appreciate it!

The week ahead
We are currently at home in Stockholm, and it is so nice. During this period at home, we will be working, but also attending various events and trade fairs. After that, it will be time for the last trip abroad of the year. What will it be? We will be back with more information!

I am grateful that the snowstorm did not reach us. It was supposed to snow on Wednesday and Thursday, but then the forecast changed and in the end there was no snow at all. That's good, because the cold is bad enough.

I hear you're not too fond of winter... I can like winter sometimes, but it depends a little... Now that the motorhome was out, it became difficult!

The weather really changed from one day to the next, and I'm sure many people were caught off guard by it. Glad to hear your problems were solved.
It seemed sensible to change the name and call it the same thing. It feels both simpler and more logical.

It's smart to make sure you have similar names everywhere.
Even if you enjoy travelling, it's easy to get overwhelmed and overfed, so that you don't have time to take in everything you experience on a press trip. Of course, the organisers want you to see as much as possible, but there's a difference between taking everything in and actually seeing it.

Now you can choose for yourselves whether you want to go on press trips or... Sure, you get to see a lot and often the gems of a country/city, but if the programme is too packed and the days are too long, I at least can't take it all in.
Thank goodness everything worked out with the motorhome. I'm sure you weren't the only ones caught off guard. Just like every year, the whole of Greater Stockholm was paralysed. We zeroes will probably never learn, and I understand why people from the north laugh at us.

Yes, and you were thinking of celebrating Christmas with your friends who have moved to Spain. I hope the trip goes ahead.

Yes, but that's wise and very true! It applies to pretty much everything in life, and we often tend to take on a little too much... But, that said, we really appreciate these trips and it was fantastic to experience Bratislava! 🙂
Glad you like the decision to use a uniform name! And yes, that's absolutely true about us zeroes... As for Spain, I think it might be early next year, as it looks to be very expensive during the holidays...
