Time goes so fast! Has it always gone this fast? There are always things to organise and fix and worry about. And then suddenly another day is over.
Table of contents
Lunch with Salzburgerland
This week we have been invited to a lunch with Salzburgerland, where they told us about their region. We have visited two places in the area, with the motorhome in the summer: Salzburg and Zell am See. Fantastic places!
It was exciting to hear about how the area has evolved from a ski destination to a year-round destination with a strong focus on cycling. Now it seems that the resorts are continuing all year round; they are just switching from skiing to cycling, from after ski to after bike.
A smart development on the part of the destinations, of course, but also nice that many people get to discover these beautiful places when they turn green. The Alps are incredibly beautiful in the summer!

Press screening at Artipelag
The next day we went to a press preview at Artipelag, to see the new immersive exhibition Mucha - Beyond Art Noveau. I've been talking for ten years about wanting to visit Artipelag, but we haven't got round to it, so it was really great that it happened now!
I would also love to come back to experience the surroundings and outdoor art (the weather was the worst imaginable when we were there!) but we were able to enjoy the Mucha exhibition in peace. And yes, it is highly recommended!

Everyday life and work
What else? Everyday life and work! We don't understand where the days have gone. We ran out of steam a bit after the event, but that doesn't mean that the work tasks disappeared. As usual, it's a bit ”scattered” - emails and collaborative discussions, bookkeeping, planning, digital development and all sorts of things ...
In the evenings we get tired and watch Game of Thrones - for the third time ... Amazingly, there are still new details and discoveries - what an incredible saga!

This week: Grateful for ...
We are grateful for everything, but among other things because we live in Sweden. It's so tough in many parts of the world right now! Not everything is easy here either, but when you compare ... Sweden is a good country to live in!
Your turn ... What are you grateful for?

The week ahead
We are still at home in Stockholm. Our only plans right now are to work on various projects. Easter is approaching, and so is the time to get the motorhome out of winter storage. We are looking forward to that!
We don't have any big motorhome plans until this summer (when we plan to head to Norway!) but maybe we'll do a smaller trip, who knows? It's so cosy to be out with the motorhome!
Now we wish you a great Friday and weekend!

I understand that it felt like the air ran out after the big event. It's easy to do that when all the focus has been so intense and for a long time. I'm sure you need the recovery that your bodies seem to want right now!
I haven't seen a single episode of Game of Thrones! Sometimes I think I'm the only one, but I know there are more of us. Maybe it will happen one day?
That toilet at Artipelag - what a sink! So, understand that it must be an inspiring environment. Now hope you have a nice weekend!

Yes, that the air largely disappeared after the ”event” understandable. But how successful it was! I visit Artipelag from time to time, all year round. . The whole environment both outside and inside is delicious. The last time I was there was with the Promenade Club and we saw ”Picasso's women”. We had the privilege of being guided by the person responsible for the exhibitions. Very rewarding with a knowledgeable guide.Glad that you could now come here and get a view of ”Mucha!.
Grateful for? A lot of things. Not least living in Sweden. And glad that I travelled a lot. Especially now that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against many countries in large parts of Asia and northern Africa If you go anyway, it can be very tricky with insurance etc if something happens.
I am also grateful that I was asked a few years ago to join the ”Promenade Club”. Here there is a lot of culture, experiences, walks and lovely restaurant visits. Meeting and activity every Wednesday.
Also thankful for my family and good friends. Important ingredients in daily life.
Wishing you now a good weekend.

Just wait until you become pensioners. I mean, if you think time is already flying by, it's nothing compared to what it's like for us pensioners. On the other hand, they say that time flies when you're having fun. And you are having fun here at home too.
It's just a pity that the weather was so bad when you visited Artepelag. Like everywhere else, Artepelag looks best with a blue sky as a backdrop, not to mention the lovely walks you can take.
Yep, I'm also glad I live where I live, not least that Sweden seems to stay completely neutral and refuses to get involved in T's absolutely idiotic actions. Then again, Russia is quite close to our country, but we're probably not interesting enough for P I would guess...

Think it is much needed for you with a few weeks at home after events and an intense time. Time goes fast and faster the older we get, how can it be. Today we rolled off the ferry in Trelleborg after 5.5 months and it actually felt really good. I say like several others that even though many things are not entirely good in Sweden, we are currently incredibly grateful that we live in this country when the outside world looks like it does. Now we are going home and it looks like Easter week will largely be spent washing and cleaning the motorhome both inside and out and getting ready for new experiences. We are also grateful for our wonderful winter holiday, which has been fantastic despite a number of weeks with real storms down in Portugal. It gave us a taste for more...

Of course, we are incredibly grateful to live in Sweden, although sometimes we moan a bit about the weather, which cannot be compared with all the misery that happens in the world.
I wrote a post about the past week and the days go by quickly. Have been to Fotografiska, had lunch, inspected the annex, etc. a good week in other words and tomorrow we will be invited to dinner.
Happy holidays to you.

I hope that in the midst of everyday life you still have a nice weekend and it is filled with a lot of energising activities. What a gorgeous sink!
