Finally it was time for Sensation Copenhagen yesterday! First a little pre-party in the motorhome of course. Then we took the train into the centre of Copenhagen, which was filled with people dressed in white! 35,000 people in white, that's a lot!

Peter's son Robin and his Alexandra were loaded when we picked them up at nine this morning. Since then, Freedom has been like a belt on the roads down the country. We drove to Malmö and took the Öresund Bridge to Copenhagen. Then it took only 10 minutes to find Camping Absalon.

On the way down to Nässjö and Jönköping we realised that we had forgotten ... the ticket to Elmia! How do you manage that? Fortunately, it was possible to solve it after a few phone calls to Elmia and after Peter's brother faxed a copy of the ticket from home ... We came down to Nässjö in the evening and spent the night in a car park in the city centre.

Updated: October 2026 | Gålö havsbad och camping is located in Skälåker in Haninge, with a sandy beach and nice hiking opportunities near the camper. We visited the campsite in 2009 and especially appreciated the nature, the walks along the water and the large green areas. For me, Helena, it was also a nostalgic return visit.

The engine light on our Fiat is on and it started when we crossed the Alps in Austria. It was on the uphills that I pushed the car the most. We made our way to a Fiat as soon as we entered Italy. The car went into a safety mode with 20 per cent less power, so that nothing would break. Hmm and me wanting more ...
