The trip around Europe can be summed up as extremely enjoyable. There was never a moment when we felt unsafe, for example due to robbery or similar. It felt almost ridiculous that we had installed a safe, but you do that so that there isn't even the slightest risk of losing your passport, for example.

Now we have travelled on to experience some camping and swimming in the Czech Republic. After the visit to Kutna Hora, we started looking for a campsite to spend the night. Read this, all local authorities! There is a shortage of parking spaces, and now we need more! The number of motorhomes has only increased in recent years. During the first half of 2008, sales increased by more than 30 per cent. And despite the current economic downturn, there are clearly many motorhomes on the roads!

Updated: October 2026 | The parking lot in Mönsterås harbor is located by the water, within walking distance of the center. We stayed here overnight with a camper in 2009 and happened to spot a blues festival. It was a nice stop with a harbor view, music and a walk among small charming houses. Since our visit, the service has developed, including electrical sites and a new service house.

Finally new upholstery in the motorhome! We have long been dissatisfied with the previous blue upholstery, and a while ago we handed in the cushions and driver's seats for reupholstery. Just before the weekend it was ready and now we have mounted and got new upholstery in the motorhome.
