Sure, Lake Garda is beautiful, but Lago d'Iseo is almost even more beautiful! We drove there in the evening to find a campsite (which there are plenty around the lake), but they were all full! A German laughed and explained that he booked already in February ... We had no choice but to hitchhike. The first night was in a car park, and the second night was incredibly beautiful right on the lake.

Here at Milan's city centre campsite, we've been cleaning and doing laundry. Not a cheap pleasure though! They charge 4.5 euros for a washing machine ... If you're lucky with the weather, you can at least hang your washing out to dry and avoid using the tumble dryer, which costs just as much. In any case, we've had a good time and are enjoying some relaxed "alone time".

Now we have found a good campsite near Pula in Istria, after travelling along the Croatian west coast and the Adriatic Sea. The campsite Puntizela (Brioni) is located in southern Istria near Pula and is a very large family campsite with a long beach, shops, restaurants and cottages. A good campsite near Pula in general!
