What to do in Värmland and what to see and experience? We can talk about what we would see and do when we get there, but we haven't written anything yet. We've been to Värmland and visited friends and lectured in Kristinehamn, but we've never gone there to write, and we're a bit ashamed of that, but we don't write destinations without having been there, as some others do. Värmland seems to have plenty of museums like the Wasa Museum, not the ship but the crispbread, Monica Z, Old cars in the vehicle museum in Arvika seem to be a hit. Things to see and do in Värmland

Värmland is bordered to the south by Västergötland and Dalsland, in the west to Norway) and to the east, Västmanland and foolishness and in the north-east to Dalarna. There are 5 500 known ancient monuments in the landscape.

Nature reserve: Glaskogens nature reserve, Värmlands Moose park, Bergs Klätt nature reserve, Högbergs fält nature reserve, Trollstigen.
Cultural reserve: Juholt Finngård with farm environment and agricultural landscape. On 26 March 1961, Mattila was inaugurated as a tourist facility with a ski lodge and thus Mattila is Nordvärmland's oldest tourist facility. Mattila is located in the middle of the "Finnskogen" about 4 miles northwest of Torsby municipality, near the border with Norway. The farm dates back to the middle of the 17th century where the stories still live on today... Today there is a Finn farm with a smokehouse (the only one in the world that is regularly lit) and an outdoor and accommodation facility. In Mattila there are about 40 cottages, most of which can be rented. There is a restaurant, meeting rooms, a ski stadium, the start of several hiking and cycling trails, an active Finnish farm with a smokehouse and much more.
Brattforsheden wartime airfield in the municipality of Karlstad, one kilometre east of Molkom in Värmland County. On 9 June 1939, the government granted the first 20 small airfields, which eventually became 40. Today one remains, which is Krigsflygfält 16 Brattforshedens.
