Fritidsbyn Kloten is beautifully situated in Bergslagen. We made a visit here this weekend with the motorhome, as we visited the couple who will soon take over Fritidsbyn. There was a tour of the beautiful area, and then it was free camping at the lake Stora Djurlången nearby.

Located on the island of Väddö in Roslagen, Grisslehamn is a charming little town, which is lively thanks to the Eckerö Line that allows people to cruise to Åland. We suggest seven things to do in Grisslehamn. There is a campsite, marina, spa hotel and a cosy little fishing harbour with restaurants. You'll also find the Albert Engström Museum here and you can cross over to the small island of Singö.

Sjötorp is located on Lake Vänern and is where the Göta Canal begins or ends, depending on the direction of travel. Here you can look at locks, buy fish and enjoy ice cream. Just before we got to Sjötorp we stopped in Norrqvarn, so we start the story there!

Wassbackens camping in Töreboda has a fantastic location by the Göta Canal. The canal runs right next to the campsite and you can park your motorhome so that you have a view of the boats chugging by or driving into the guest harbour. If you want, you can cycle to the lock in Tåtorp.

Gräsö is a scenic island located just outside Öregrund in Roslagen. The island is surrounded by beautiful cliffs and there are several nature reserves on the island. Here you will also find camping, hostels and a beautiful old church.

Ängskärs havscamping is beautifully situated on the Hållnäs peninsula in north-eastern Uppland. We camped here for a day and enjoyed the beautiful nature and lovely cliffs by the sea. If you're travelling by motorhome and prefer to stay on a pitch, there are several to choose from nearby.

Väddö havsbad and camping on Väddö is a campsite with a sandy beach, surrounded by beautiful nature. The campsite was quite simple, but we still experienced two nice days in lovely surroundings.

We celebrated Midsummer Eve on Väddö in Roslagen, in Norrtälje municipality. We drove here with the motorhome after a very stressful day at home, with the aim of a few days of peace and quiet.

Kapellskär's campsite is beautifully located in the Riddersholm nature reserve, with the coast and the Åland Sea just outside. We drove here on the first "proper" motorhome trip of the year and had a wonderful day in the Swedish nature.
