Updated: August 2026 | Taking the ferry between Italy and Greece is a convenient option for those traveling by car or camper and wanting to get between Southern Europe and the Balkans. During our camper trip, we took the night ferry from Brindisi in southern Italy to Igoumenitsa in northwestern Greece. We traveled without a cabin and had a rather different night on board. Here we tell you about our trip and what is good to know before the ferry between Italy and Greece.

Ferry from Sardinia to Sicily – a night under the open sky

Updated: September 2026 | It is possible to take a ferry directly from Sardinia to Sicily, between Cagliari and Palermo. We made the trip with a camper van and chose the night ferry. The only problem was that all the cabins and other sleeping places were fully booked. It ended with a night on deck under the stars and a rather unforgettable arrival in Sicily.

Corsica-Sardinia ferry - quick and easy!

Corsica-Sardinia ferry, how does it work? Good in our experience. Ferries run from Bonifacio in southern Corsica to Santa Teresa in northern Sardinia. The Corsica-Sardinia ferry takes 50 minutes and is easy to continue travelling with your motorhome. The ferries are very frequent and we were there 45 minutes before.

Ferry Nice - Ile Rousse in Corsica! Early this morning we drove through a beautiful and slightly rose-coloured Nice. The beach, which lines the entire city, is lined with grand houses and a long row of tall palm trees. This city can certainly be nice to experience more of! We may experience Nice at another time. This time we chose to take the ferry to Corsica.

Boat trip to Manila in the Philippines - from Boracay

Today it was a boat trip to Manila from Boracay. We started with a small boat from Boracay to Panay, and from there it was a ferry. The ferry from Caticlan on Panay to Batangas on Luzon was nicer and less worn than the one we travelled with last time. It felt good, as there was a lot of wind on the sea.
