Our blog FREEDOMtravel is 10 years old! It's almost exactly ten years since we wrote our very first blog post and that's worth celebrating, isn't it? Today we're sharing a gallery of images from our ten years of blogging.

ShareWe started the blog in 2009
When we got the motorhome, we decided that we also wanted to start a blog. We wanted our own domain, but knew absolutely nothing about websites and had no one to ask. I (Helena) googled a lot and spent three days manually moving files in some kind of file manager.
I had no idea what I was doing, but suddenly we had a blog! The first blog post, Unleash the motorhome, it's spring!we wrote on 27 March 2009. It's hard to believe that ten years have passed since then! The blog has had many different layouts over the years, more or less successful perhaps. Were you there when the blog looked like these pictures?

It's been a fantastic ten years of blogging and travelling. Through the blog, we have met many wonderful people, and in addition, blogging has led to lots of exciting experiences and travelling. We're celebrating with a photo gallery from our ten years of blogging!
A big THANK YOU to those who follow our blog, and an extra thank you to those who brighten our day by occasionally leaving a comment! We hope you will continue to follow us for a few more years!

This autumn I have also been doing it for 10 years.... so we are about as "old" Many have stopped blogging, but some new ones have been added. We'll see how long we can manage and think it's fun. Thank you so much Ruth!!! Glad to hear that you like our photos! Oh, is that when you started following us? 🙂 And nice that you ask about the drone! Yes, it's fine and we hope to use it again soon. Unfortunately, many countries have tricky rules. In Sri Lanka, it took a long time to get a licence, and it was expensive! In Iceland, we judged that we had too little time and would be in areas where there is likely to be a ban (capital city, near airport, at major attractions). So it's not always easy... But there will be drone pictures again!

I have been following you for several years, and have found a lot of inspiration here!
A while ago we booked a trip to Sardinia for the summer, and have of course read about your visit to this island and got inspiration and tips on what to see. We fly there, will stay a little north of Alghero, intend to rent a car at the airport that we have the whole week there, because we like to drive around and look around.
I check in here often, but don't comment much ......
