Nature, nature and more nature
Now that we are working from home, and when all meetings, events and trips are cancelled, we often take the opportunity to get out into nature. We are so grateful that we live in Sweden, where no one has thought of banning visits to the forest and countryside. We have also discovered that there are lots of beautiful natural areas around Stockholm. We have visited several, and we have had time to write about some of them:
New backpacks

Easter 2020
Nothing is the same this year and we have less freedom of movement than usual, but it's still Easter. We hope you can enjoy a nice and relaxed Easter weekend, wherever you are! You can find some Easter reading here:
Best this week
The best things this week are the lovely weather, all the great visits to Stockholm's nature reserves and our new backpacks. What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
For our part, there will be some simple Easter celebrations at home, as well as more visits to national parks and nature reserves. We have far from "blog drought" but on the contrary a long list of posts waiting to be written, so feel free to check in here every day during the coming week!

The best part of the week has been that the weather has been so good that we could paint and do carpentry. Eventually, it will be a shed 🙂 ðŸ™'

It is nice to have forest and nature nearby because walking in the city does not feel so good. Unfortunately, not so many people keep their distance.

To live in the capital and still have so much forest around you is probably almost only Sweden can offer. In these times, and others too, it's almost a luxury. To be able to go out and not feel the stress of the capital.

We have also had a wonderful week with many visits to the forest and nature!
The best has probably been our first trip with the motorhome, two nights with several nice nature experiences.
What nice backpacks! I bought a similar one from Herschel last year, but unfortunately it's a bit short on pockets...

Cozy with the first trip with the motorhome! 🙂 We have to pick up ours from the winter storage in Värmland, and then there is a lot to fix with it too. Nice when there are many pockets and compartments in a backpack, I think!

You can never have too many backpacks and if they are also so stylish and practical, they quickly become a favourite.
We have now parked our 'new' motorhome for a couple of weeks in Sundborn. We will pack it for upcoming adventures and fix some storage so it will be as we want it. Sundborn is fantastic because nature is always close by. There are lakes for paddling and in winter for skating, forests and meadows. Perfect for us nature lovers. We have no problem filling the days.
Easter will be simple this year with some outdoor activities with loved ones.

Sure, it's nice to get out and we are also so happy that we can do it freely. The Stockholm area has a lot to offer. of most things. We also work on getting around and have done it quite a lot. But it's a bit trickier because we don't have a car and now we don't use public transport either. But there are good boat and ferry connections. And we usually walk at least one kilometre a day. Now the bikes will also be brought out.
Best part of the week? All the lovely walks and walks with friends.

I really like these press releases! Very nice backpacks. Yes, I also love seabream. Laughed at the "cut off" fin. This is also what we usually do when the lizard is slightly too big for the frying pan; -)
