September photo challenge - sunsets & sunrises

Photo challenge in September! This time we're a little late to the party, as we've been travelling and had other things to blog about, but we're just in time. Previous themes have been vehicles, water, patterns, clouds, people and religious. This month's theme is ... sunsets and sunrises.

Photo challenge in September

It is the travel blogger Maria's memoirs which organises the photo challenges and the theme for September is "sunsets and sunrises". It's a simple theme in a way, but perhaps difficult if you want to find some interesting photos that stand out. I don't really know how we managed that? By the way, you can see our contributions to previous themes here:

Pampas marina

I will start with some photos from the Pampas marina, where we live with our houseboat. The sunsets here can really be magically beautiful. View from the deck!

Sweden

We continue with the rest of Sweden. There will be one photo from Sikhjälma in Uppland and two from the island of Ringsö in Lake Mälaren, where our friends have a summer house.

Northern Europe

We continue with some sunsets from northern Europe, including a fog-shrouded sunset from eastern Estonia and a sunset from Torun, Poland, from our last trip.

Southern Europe

On to southern Europe! We start with Corsica and Sicily. Both photos are from our long motorhome trip in 2015. Then a photo from Croatia and one from Greece, where Peter was on a press trip without me (Helena).

The world

Last but not least, a photo from outside Europe has to be included. It is a sunset in Zanzibar, many years ago.

Do you like any of the photos better than the others? I don't really know, so it would be interesting to hear!
