Photo challenge in February! There's been a bit of a break in the photo challenges during the winter, but now they're back on, and we're joining in! Autumn's themes were religious, sunsets, man-made and 50 shades of 'any colour'. This month's theme is: light.

February photo challenge
It is the travel blogger Maria's memoirs who organises these photo challenges from bloggers. It's great that she has picked up the thread again, and the theme for this month is "light". The theme feels both easy and difficult. Exciting! By the way, you can see our contributions to the challenges in autumn 2020 here:
Light shows
We start with some photos of light shows from around the world. Light has an amazing effect on people and these shows make for great memories.
The light of New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is a time to see light in different ways. We show three photos from previous trips, one from Ukraine, one from Malaysia and one from Sri Lanka.
The light of nature
Of course, light can also be experienced in nature! As sunrises and sunsets were a previous theme, we would like to show another type of photos.
Light in architecture
Of course, light can also be found in architecture! Here are some photos, both from far away and from our home.

Fantastic contributions to "light". Las Fallas in Valencia probably beats most things. Your kitchen lamp is also a favourite in all its simplicity. The light in the Unesco villa was cool too.
This time of year, I associate light above all with noticeably longer days and more light in the afternoons.

Lovely interpretations of the theme, thank you! 🙂 Nature's light is my personal favourite, but light shows are also cool. I experienced my best light show in Singapore.
