Photo challenge in May! We missed April's photo challenge, as we were on the road with the motorhome for most of the month. This month we are also travelling a lot, but we still have time to pick up on the theme "from above". A fun theme!

Photo challenge in May
It is the travel blogger Maria's memoirs who organise these photo challenges for bloggers. This month's challenge is entitled "from above". As usual, you can choose to interpret the word as you wish and we have chosen a few different interpretations. By the way, you can see some of our recent contributions to the photo challenges here:

Photos from tall buildings
We start with photos of tall buildings. We have selected a photo from the aqueduct in Håverud, a photo from the church tower in Rovinj in Croatia and a photo from a treetop runway on the island of Rügen in Germany.
Photos from high mountains
We've visited a number of high mountains, and some of the most beautiful views have been in Switzerland and Austria. Here are photos from Untersberg and Kitzsteinhorn in Austria, and the Hoher Kasten mountain in Appenzell in Switzerland.
Photos from aeroplanes
Here are a number of photos taken from different aeroplanes. One photo is taken from an aeroplane over Austria, one from hang gliding in the Interlaken and one from a helicopter ride over Stockholm.
Drone photos
Peter sometimes shoots with his drone, and it's definitely a top-down perspective. Here are three of his drone photos, one from the castle Baranov Sandomierski in Poland, one from Kjerringøy in Norway and one from Sikh helmet in Sweden.

Nice pictures and Maria's suggestions for theme words I think are fun. Especially stuck to the aqueduct in Håverud, Kerringoy in Norway and Hoher Kasten.
I have prepared my post about "From Above" and it will come on Friday... Always tricky to choose pictures.

Absolutely wonderful "great pictures" in a double sense this time. It's quite fun to use different themes to remember and relive journeys that you have made. Especially important right now, I think, both for you and us readers who are not really travelling either.
