Blidö in the Stockholm archipelago

We have now moved on from the Uppland coast (where we helped Peter's mum to move from house to apartment) to Blidö, where we are now helping Peter's brother to extend his house. They have had the house on Blidö for a long time as a summer house, but now they live here permanently and therefore they want to expand the house into a larger year-round villa.

Peter's brother is a skilled builder, but the schedule has become very tight, partly because he has spent a lot of time helping his mum. Now a new kitchen is about to be delivered and it was getting really stressful ... We're here to help, and so are some other relatives.

Instructions can be tricky sometimes, and this instruction for a door handle probably took the prize. How can assembling a small door handle be so complicated?

In fact, it was just like that complicated. The instructions didn't help either, but when Peter and his brother's wife put their heads together, it worked out in the end.

A busy week
