Destinationstorg och Destinationspris på husbilsmässan 18-20 mars

On 18-20 March 2022 it is time for the motorhome fair "Freedom on wheels" at Kistamässan in Stockholm. FREEDOMtravel will be there with an inspiring "Destination Square" and will also, for the first time, award the "Destination of the Year" prize.

The demand for fairs and travel is high, and the motorhome fair "Freedom on wheels" at Kistamässan on 18-20 March is expected to attract a large audience. FREEDOMtravel will be there with a larger stand than ever before and offer a number of new features, such as the "Destination Square" and the "Destination of the Year" award.

Motorhomes and accessories are on display at the fair, but motorhome travellers naturally also want to be inspired by destinations. Therefore, FREEDOMtravel presents a "Destination Square" on its stand. The destination square presents a range of destinations for motorhome travellers, both within and outside Sweden.

Each destination is presented by a stand with brochures, and in some cases giveaways or prizes are added. Visitors can discuss the destinations with FREEDOMtravel, and in many cases representatives of the destinations are also present to answer questions. The destinations you will meet at the stand are:

Lectures on 6 destinations

FREEDOMtravel will hold 6 lectures during the fair, taking the audience on exciting road trips. The talks will offer tips on what to see and do along the way, as well as practical information for motorhome travellers. Here is the programme:

Saturday 19 March, 11 am: Sparkling Crystal Valley in the north of the Czech Republic

Destination of the Year Award

For the first time, FREEDOMtravel will present an award for "Destination of the Year". The award is given to the destination that FREEDOMtravel most appreciated when travelling by motorhome during the previous year. "Destination" refers to a town, region or other geographical area.

This year's destination prize is awarded to a destination in Sweden. In 2023, two prizes will be awarded - one to a winner within Sweden and one to a winner outside Sweden. The criteria are:

Plenty of pitches and/or campsites
You feel welcome with a motorhome
Unique experiences and attractions
A destination that can be visited throughout much of the year

This year's winners will be announced on Saturday 19 March at 13:45.

A lot will happen at the FREEDOMtravel stand.

The FREEDOMtravel stand at the "Freedom on Wheels" fair will be busy. Many of the products from FREEDOMtravel's online shop will be on display, and visitors can browse kitchen towels, bedding sets, candle lanterns, dishcloths, trivets, key rings and throws - all with stylish motorhome or caravan designs. The stand also features a world first from the company BestPark - a brand new service centre for motorhomes.
