Swedavia advises sports holiday travellers travelling via Arlanda Airport

During the sports holidays, many people take the opportunity to fly to the mountains or ski resorts on the continent. There may be many people flying at the same time and Swedavia has therefore staffed up. They also provide five tips for a good start to your sports holiday trip:

  1. Get to the airport on time and check which terminal you are flying from.
  2. Be ready when you go to the security checkpoint, by removing outerwear and metal objects, picking up computers and emptying pockets.
  3. Follow your flight in Swedavia's app, where you can subscribe to information about your particular flight.
  4. Are you travelling with skis/special luggage? Go first to your check-in desk to get a label and then to Special Baggage. Please note that you can only pack one pair of skis per case.
  5. Attach your baggage tag correctly during self-check-in. If you are not sure, you can watch the film: How to attach your luggage tag
