SJ has been named Sweden's greenest brand in the Transport category for the fifteenth consecutive year, according to the consultancy firm Differ. More than 1,000 Swedes voted in the survey, and SJ is once again recognised for its cutting-edge sustainability work. An ongoing project involves plasticising the bistro. Since April 2022, the company Allwin has been collecting the food left over from the trains in Stockholm. The food, equivalent to 2 400 meals a month, is then distributed to those in need, including under the auspices of the Church of Sweden.

Record figures for guest nights in Halmstad

Preliminary statistics show more than 800,000 guest nights in Halmstad in 2022, which is a record. There has been a good development of guest nights, and the biggest increase is for domestic visitors. Among foreign guests, it is mainly Danes, Germans and Norwegians who are returning. The trend indicates a longer season. The hotels in Halmstad had an all-time high and increased by 60,000 guest nights compared to 2021.
