There's something special about "small" changes. The kind that don't require a whole new camper - but still make everything feel... new.

Time for change
We really enjoy our camper, but after many years on the road, some things just started to feel a little tired. We've certainly fixed and updated a lot, but the cushions in the seating area had been around for over 15 years.
We have mended, sewn and fixed over and over again – but finally we came to that point: now is the time. At the same time, we have renewed in a different way…!

Smoother journeys – all year round
When we were at the Elmia trade fair last fall, we purchased merino wool chair covers from Wool beds to the driver's seats. We never had time to use them then, but now it's time! And you can tell right away that it's not just about looks.
What really stands out is the feel when you sit down. Wool is a fantastic material – it cools when it’s hot and warms when it’s cold. The result is that the chairs feel comfortable regardless of the weather, which is pretty much perfect when you’re traveling for a large part of the year, in different climates and different weather conditions.

Thanks to the seat covers, we also got help covering the fabric on the driver's seats, which was really worn out. One advantage of covers is exactly that – they protect the upholstery underneath.
And yes – it turned out really nice too. The light tone lifts the entire cab and gives a softer, more cozy impression. But of course there are other colors and shades too, if you prefer.
In addition, at Ullbädden you can find other nice products for the motorhome, such as seat cushions for the living area and covers for outdoor furniture.

New life in the seating area
While we were at it, we got down to business. This time, just like last time (15 years ago!), we turned to our local upholsterer in Sundbyberg – E&N Tapetserare & Inredning.
There were five parts in total: two backs, two seat cushions and a specially sewn piece of fabric behind one of the backrests, where the seat belts go through. We chose a durable fabric in a light shade that matches the chair covers from Ullbädden.

And what a difference it made! From the previous dark brown to the new light – it feels both fresher and more modern. The whole camper got a lift, almost like it got bigger inside.

Everyday life in the motorhome (also at home)
We haven't been on any long trips yet, but the camper has been in use. The last few days we've actually been sitting there and working sometimes – parked at home – because it's been really windy and rocking our houseboat quite a bit.
Back then, being able to sit in soft, wool-covered chairs wasn't exactly a disadvantage. On the contrary, it felt really cozy to have the camper as a study!

Now we long to hit the roads
It's almost a little dangerous with updates like these. Because now we're even more eager to get going. Spring and summer trips suddenly feel even more enticing – with a brighter, softer and more inviting camper.

The covers look very nice and a little update to your home on wheels wouldn't hurt. You spend a lot of time in your motorhome.

It turned out great! You don't have to do much to change and improve.
Then we'll see if you roll past our campsite, if you're traveling in Sweden.
Happy Wednesday!

It turned out really nice with all the light wool covering. Nicely done by the upholsterer. We bought sheepskin from Tranås skinn and attached it. It didn't look as nice as formwork but it fulfills its function both biting and summery.
Happy Walpurgis Day Hugs

It turned out so nice! We bought similar covers at Elmia but dark gray because we had gray sheepskin on the sofas. They are so beautiful! The upholsterer did a great job too! I understand that you are looking forward to it. Today we inspected Laikan and then we went up to the quarry on Kinnekulle to celebrate Valborg. Have a good time!

It turned out so nice! A real lift! And when you're out and about so much, it's important that the upholstery in your camper feels nice and practical.

We have tested these expensive wool beds that really don't measure up. After a year completely worn out which is because it's not real wool.
Buy real stuff and not this crap.👎👎👎👎👎🏊♂️

It turned out so nice! And that wallpaperer seems to know what he's doing! Good tip! We're not that far away.
We have similar ones from Ullbädden but dark grey. We have them all year round and really like them. Not the least bit bad, in our opinion, as someone commented.
