As we write this, we are on the Swedish west coast, more specifically on Smögen. We are enjoying seafood of course, and working and working... Plus, we had a special reason to come here.

Free camping … and camping
We have free-camped (or free-parked as some say it should be called) a lot during this year's trip – both in Norway and in Sweden. After we new solar panels installed We are more or less self-sufficient when it comes to electricity, at least this summer.
We have also become good at finding emptying places for, for example, latrines and garbage, which means that we rarely need to enter organized places.

But, we don't always fight. One night we took in Hafsten Resort & Camping. Here we have once enjoyed a hot tub, sauna, hiking and even ziplining. This time we had a completely different kind of errand: laundry. Four machines and four rounds of tumble drying!

Sooo much to update
Between laundry and short hikes, we pretty much only do one thing: we work on the computers. We have become completely absorbed in the project.”Digital Feng Shui” – we are trying to go through and clean up and update our old posts.
It may seem like a pretty hopeless project when you've been blogging every day for about 18 years, but the fact is that it also feels... satisfactory and sometimes really fun. Order and order is nice in a way, and it also brings back a lot of memories.
The only problem is that we become totally absorbed and it tends to take over everything else we need to do...

Smögen
As we write this, we are at Smögen. Here we have had a seafood craving in the form of fantastic shrimp and a really good stuffed crab. We have also strolled a bit on Smögenbryggan and in the fantastically beautiful surroundings.

But the fact is that there is a specific reason why we traveled here. It is almost time for a special art event and festival here – Island of Light – and we are invited as press for a preview the day before it all starts. We will tell you more as soon as possible!

This week: Grateful for ...
This week we are once again grateful for life with the blog and the camper. It is certainly not always easy – there is always something to fix and we live very simply – but we get the chance to experience so many varied and fun things. It strikes us not least when we look through the blog archive … !
Your turn ... What are you grateful for this week?

The week ahead
After the visit to Smögen, we will slowly start moving towards Jönköping, where the Elmia Caravan Motorhome fair waiting. Maybe we'll see you there?

Did you miss the last Friday Blog? Read it Skåne, Halland, Småland … and repeat

Yes. What am I grateful for… of course a lot, but since Yngsta hasn't received any news yet, it takes over most of my thoughts.
But the fact that they are now putting up the scaffolding for the roof replacement is nice.

Smögen outside of high season is truly wonderful and ”Island of Light” has been on our wish list for years but we haven’t been able to make it. I saw that you were out by boat and saw it from the sea, awesome!
We ourselves are grateful for four nice days in Krakow in wonderful summer weather. (Since Lars' iPhone slipped out of his pocket on the bus between Arlanda and Märsta, with his driver's license and everything, I guess it's less fun). When we got home last night and were able to sit at the computer, it looks like it's in a bus garage in Arlandastad, so we have good hopes of getting it back no matter what. Unfortunately, we are quite busy until Elmia, otherwise we could have offered to stay overnight at our pond, but now we hope to see you in Jönköping.

I think Smögen outside of high season is quite ok but not much more. It's the pier, the restaurants and the colorful fishing huts and the beautiful little cottages behind the pier. And seafood, but they are everywhere. Hamburgsund, Fjällbacka, Grebbestad, Mollösund and Käringön are places I'm particularly fond of.
I can imagine that Smögen is a good place to work. And that you will now get a preview of Island of Light. So exciting!
Grateful for this week? Meetings with great friends, and lunches, having time to get in a report (work about school that I wrote in "good time", walks on Djurgården, meeting with a blog friend. And not least grateful that we live centrally in Söder and so nicely on the quay with the water only 20 m from the house. I am grateful for this every week.
Wishing you a great weekend.

Exciting about the festival.
What am I grateful for this week? It has to be my dog, who is calmer and just getting wiser.

Yummy for shrimp on Smögen! Fun event you're there at. I understand you're getting absorbed. I've been sitting for two days and messing around with the blog. It's so much fun. Details that maybe others don't notice, but that I feel were important to do.
