From Dubrovnik to Safari Beach, 16 kilometres. It should be pretty quick, we thought. Just blow down. NOT 🙂 We got stuck at the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro. Nice to have a motorhome, I went to bed and read, Elias walked around in the car. The road further was under all criticism, we drove for about 45 km on European roads, luckily there were fantastic views and much to see during the journey. We passed Sveti Stefan and many nice cities.

Now we are just about ready to leave northern Albania with Shkoder and Lake Shkoder and head north into Montenegro. In total we have spent about three weeks in Albania, mainly in the southern part. There is a campsite in Shkodra on Lake Shkodra in northern Albania, on the border with Montenegro. The highest mountain Jezerca towers in the sky and below it is a nice campsite in Shkodra in unspoilt nature, called Lake Shkodra Resort.

Today we have experienced both big cities and motorways in Albania. We have travelled from Albania's south-west coast and north-east to Lake Ohrid. We have driven through four major Albanian cities and we have driven several stretches on the motorway. The journey has also taken us through much of the countryside and over some more mountains. Motorhome parking in Albania - Radhima on the west coast

Now we have found a modern campsite in Albania at Radhima. We've written a lot about simple sites and campsites in the country. Now we want to tell you that there are modern sites too! Right now we are at Camper Stop Cekodhima, at Radhima on the west coast in the district of Vlora. We call it a "site" because we're in a gravel car park, but it has all the services you'd expect from a modern western campsite.
