Things to see and do in Hälsingland

Hälsingland is a province in southern Norrland in central Sweden. It is bordered to the south by Gästrikland, in the west to Dalarna and Härjedalen, in the north to Medelpad and to the east the Bothnian Sea. The landscape has around 150 000 visible ancient monuments.

Nature reserve: Agön-Kråkön Nature Reserve, Kölberget Nature Reserve, Bodagrottorna Iggesund, Kölberget Nature Reserve, which you cross on the Hälsingland Trail, Kyrkön Nature Reserve.
Cultural reserve: Västeräng cultural reserve in Hudiksvall municipality in Hälsingland, about farm environment (hälsingegård) and agricultural landscape. Västeräng is a village with four farms outside Delsbo and the farms (fäbodarna) Ersk-mickels, Ol-Ers and Schäftners are located together, while the fourth one called Bommens is a little outside.
Våsbo fäbodar in the municipality of ovanåker in Hälsingland with a fädbod environment and agricultural landscape. Four of the valleys (sites) are located north of Lake Våsen, and about a kilometre north of both Edsbyn and the home village of Roteberg. Very little has changed since 1800.
