Hälsingland is a province in southern Norrland in central Sweden. It is bordered to the south by Gästrikland, in the west to Dalarna and Härjedalen, in the north to Medelpad and to the east the Bothnian Sea. The landscape has around 150 000 visible ancient monuments.
