Yesterday we arrived at Sandvik's campsite, which is located on Lake Roxen outside Linköping. This is a Caravan Club campsite, which is very nice by the water. Here we have, among other things, met motorhome friends!
Sandvik campsite on Lake Roxen
Sandvik Camping is a family campsite located just outside the city centre. Linköping, on the northern shore of Lake Roxen, about one kilometre from Berg's locks. There are more than 90 pitches for motorhomes and caravans and a number of cabins that can be rented. At the campsite there is a beach with jetties, and this is probably a good place to sunbathe and swim in the summer.
You are welcome whether you are a member of the Caravan Club or not, but as a member you have a discount. Read more about the campsite at Linköping municipality's website.
Lunch in the sun
We had a lunch out in the sun yesterday, but it's windy and quite cold ... one wonders when the cold will go away this year?
Meeting with motorhome friends
A little later, our motorhome friends, Ann and Michael, came rolling into the campsite in their nice Frankia. We have talked a lot online, but have not seen each other "in real life" before, so it's great that it finally happened!
In addition, it was of course fun to peek into Ann and Michael's beautiful Frankia! Frankia has a lot of exciting solutions, including a small bathroom that hux flux, by pulling a wall, turns into a surprisingly large bathroom (a bit like Goofy's caravan on Christmas Eve). We talked for a long time, so the grills were lit only when it started to get dark ...

There it is nice! But when we were there, we were "knocked down" at the bottom of a slope, which resulted in a number of strong men having to come and push us when we were leaving 😀 Keep up the good work!

Anders and Anna, great to hear from you and great to hear that you are on tour! Hope you have a nice trip!
Criss-cross, oops... good thing there were strong men back then.
😉
Anki, we saw a sign for Vånga on the way here. Agree that it is nice! It has been quite sunny too, although quite cold.

Looks like a nice campsite, but we have the habit of not standing on campsites. I think it is too much that Nyman does not need and you have to pay for it anyway. Then we rather bend the pitch or fricampar. But have a good time. 3 M
