Travel and leisure fairs in 2026
Below you will find a selection of travel and leisure fairs for 2026. We have compiled a list of fairs and festivals for the general public, focusing on travel, living abroad, cars, boats, camping, outdoor life, hunting and fishing, adventure, food and drink, and similar topics. Most of the fairs are held in Sweden, but we have also included some major events in our neighbouring countries.
Please note that this is a selection - there may of course be more - and that we cannot be held responsible if any fair changes its date or cancels. If you're interested in an event, it's best to Google it and check out their own website!

June
Is June a big trade fair month? No, not really... During this month, you should take the opportunity to do other things!
July
July is not a big trade fair month either, but at the end of the month there is a country life and wilderness fair in Jämtland.
- West Farm Game Fair, 31 July – 2 August, Åreskutan and Kallsjön, Jämtland
August
The biggest leisure fair in August is undoubtedly The Nolia Fair, which is held every other year in Umeå and every other year in Piteå. The fair has three focus areas: Food & Pantry, House & Home, and Leisure & Motor. We visited the Nolia trade fair a few years ago., and it was quite a fair, we must say!
- The Nolia Fair, 5–9 August, Piteå

September
September is an important trade fair month in the camping industry – first big Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany, followed by the Nordic region's largest trade fair for mobile living: Scandinavian Caravan Show. We last reported on motorhomes at the fair and presented awards to Destination of the Year 2025. The book fair is also an opportunity for inspiration – for example, about travel.
- Caravan Salon, 28 August – 6 September, Düsseldorf, Germany
- Scandinavian Caravan Show, 9–13 September, Elmia Exhibition Centre, Jönköping
- The Gothenburg Book Fair, 24–27 September, Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Gothenburg

October
A number of beverage fairs are being held during October. Jonathan Gharbi de Maré, writer at FREEDOMtravel, has told us about these fairs here.
- Beer & Spirits Stockholm, 2–3 October, Stockholm Waterfront Congress, Stockholm
- Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 23-24 October, Nacka Strandsmässan, Stockholm.

November
There aren't usually many travel or leisure fairs in November, but this year the Senior Festival in Stockholm (and the Travel Fair) has been postponed from October to November. This fair may not be comparable to the Finnish and Danish travel fairs, but it is still the largest travel fair in Sweden. We usually try to attend this fair, even though it was a brief visit in 2025.
- The Senior Festival in Stockholm, 12–14 November, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö, Stockholm
- Travel fair (part of the Senior Festival), 12–14 November, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö, Stockholm

Madde says:
It's always fun to go to trade fairs. The book fair is a tradition, but there's usually a drinks fair as well. I like that sort of thing.

We like trade fairs! We have never been to the book fair, but would love to go if the opportunity arises. Drink fairs are fun, I agree!

You've gathered together quite a few trade fairs, now it's just a matter of choosing. I think it would be fun to visit Düsseldorf in the autumn. We'll see if we end up going to any. Enjoy the snow, we've had 30 cm. Hugs
