We took the train from Oslo and arrived in Gothenburg after 3 hours. It is such a convenient form of transport as you can work on the way to and from Gothenburg.

Updated: October 2026 | Tjurpannan Nature Reserve is located just north of Grebbestad in Bohuslän. Here, open cliffs meet the Skagerrak, while small coves, heather heaths and an idyllic natural harbor hide between the hills. We took the camper here for an easy hike along one of the Bohuslän's most exposed stretches of coast.

Updated: October 2026 | Ramsvikslandet in Bohuslän is not called the ”Kingdom of Cliffs” for no reason. Here you hike over smooth granite cliffs with the sea right next to you, between heather heaths, small beaches and traces of the ice sheet. We have visited Ramsvikslandet twice and hiked both the White Trail and out to Tryggö with King Tryggve’s grave.

Updated: October 2026 | What is there to do on Dyrön in Bohuslän? We took the ferry from Rönnäng on Tjörn and spent a fantastic day on the car-free island. Here we hiked five kilometers along the Dyröleden trail, discovered the dramatic Dynes ravine and enjoyed the Bohuslän archipelago. Plus, we had shrimp sandwiches and egg cheese by the sea!
