Camping accessories and destinations at Caravan Stockholm 2019

Camping accessories - can you find them at Caravan Stockholm? And what about inspiration for new destinations? We've taken a look around Caravan Stockholm 2019, and here's some of what we found during our tour.

Camping accessories at Caravan Stockholm 2019

It's the same discussion at every motorhome and caravan show. They want to see more accessories! You can't buy a new motorhome every year, but it's fun to find new crockery, a new guidebook or a new GPS. So, what camping accessories can you find at Caravan Stockholm 2019? We've made a few rounds of the show and report on some of the accessories you can find.

Protection from sun and cold

At RV Masters Comfort Solskydd AB we found convenient sun protection for the motorhome. The sunscreens snap on easily with magnets and remain in place even in windy conditions. The covers are available in different designs to suit different motorhome models, and prices vary depending on the motorhome model. A price example for a package (front window, two side windows and windscreen wipers) is SEK 5600 for an alcove/semi-integrated motorhome and SEK 7050 for a fully integrated motorhome. Protection against cold is also included.

Cosy in the motorhome

If you want a warm and soft floor, you can order moulded and edged rugs from Mattjätten in Linköping.

If you also want a warm and soft seat, you can order a cover for your campervan seats from Ullbadden.se.

Sustainable tableware

Why buy melamine tableware when you can buy bamboo tableware? We have melamine crockery ourselves, but now that bamboo crockery is available, we would love to go for it. Bamboo crockery is environmentally friendly, just as light and not more expensive. A smart camping accessory! The bamboo tableware in the picture comes from Campout.se and costs SEK 349 for 16 pieces, for four people.

Maybe new outdoor furniture?

We asked a salesperson at Campout what camping accessories are most in demand, and he told us that both electric bikes and outdoor furniture are popular right now. In the picture below, you can see some of the outdoor furniture from Campout. In the top image of the post, you can see new furniture from the same company that can fit in the awning. Each stool is also a drawer for storage - and it also folds up.

LPG safety in the motorhome

Another innovation from Campout is the "GasStop", which attaches to the LPG tube. This little gadget includes a gas meter, and also indicates if there is a small gas leak. If there is a leak, the gas supply is also shut off.

Cheaper toilet cleaning

Campout also presented new cleaning products for the toilet. According to the vendor, this brand has recently been adopted by Campout, and one of its advantages is that it is significantly cheaper than other classic brands.

Garden for the dog

If you have a dog, the company Husbilshund.se will be on site with, among other things, a canvas kennel for the dog. If you want to give the dog more space, two paddocks can be connected to each other.

Electric bikes from Holland

A bunch of Dutch guys from the company e-4motion are there with several different models of electric bikes. Several of the bikes can be folded, and one of them (the one in the picture) also has a smart rubber chain that does not get oily. The bikes may soon have a Swedish dealer, but in the meantime they can be purchased from the website e-4motion.com without shipping costs. The price for this model is about SEK 16,000, and there are other models at a lower price.

Destinations

The Destination Square at the Caravan Stockholm fair is a fun idea that has great potential for development. This year we are here together with some different camping companies and destinations such as Vildmarksvägen and Eckerölinjen/Åland. Here we talked to Marie, who advised us to take the ferry from Grisslehamn to Eckerö and then enjoy Åland's 12 campsites. We would love to do that on occasion!
