Jet fuel prices are rising – but travel is not yet affected
Despite reports of increased costs for aviation fuel, and several airlines introducing a fuel surcharge, there is still no clear effect on ticket prices, according to Ticket.
Looking ahead to the coming months, there are no major changes in what travelers actually pay. Examples of destinations where there are currently many affordable options are Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and Albania.
Going forward, there is uncertainty about how long the current price picture will last. If fuel prices continue to remain at a high level and flight availability also decreases, it is likely that this will translate into higher prices for customers.

New tool shows flight price trends

Vasa 1628 is launched on the Eckerö Line
Vasa 1628, the brandy recreated from a unique find from the royal ship Vasa, is now being launched on Eckerö Linjen ahead of the summer.
The background is unusual. When the royal ship Vasa was salvaged, a pewter bottle was found among the captain's private belongings. With the help of modern analysis and careful craftsmanship, the contents were later reconstructed from a single drop.
The result is a brandy with a clear anise character and hints of oak. When Vasa 1628 is launched on Eckerö Linjen, a drink with roots in one of Sweden's most legendary ships returns to the sea.

Reflection of the week
Yes, where airfares will go in the future is hard to predict. In general, there is a lot that is uncertain in a world with wars and crazy leaders. The prices of gasoline and diesel also affect those who want to travel by car or camper, so these prices are also something to think about...

It is not easy to predict where the prices of airline tickets and fuel will go. Then it will also be difficult to plan our future travels, so it seems best to sit still in the boat and watch the time. As for Vasa 1628, Lars received such a bottle as a Christmas present. We have tasted it but our rating was ”Wow, that’s so nasty”!

We think this with prices for flights and fuel has a big impact... For us, it has been harder to plan than ever! It's great that you received the bottle as a gift, even if the rating was a bit questionable... 😉

I'm happy to already have two trips booked in the future, in case the prices increase. Whether they can ask for a higher price afterwards remains to be seen.
Despite BM and Lars' low ratings of the drink, I would have liked to taste it. So interesting with such an old recipe coming back to life.

That bottle has become a bit of a favorite for us (to the extent that you can call it a favorite when you drink schnapps 2-3 times a year). It's really good. We think so. I saw that BM and Lars didn't like it at all. When it comes to schnapps, it seems that there are very different things that people like and don't like.
