Strömma offers tips on different activities on the lake
What do you do when you've already tried the city's classic summer spots, sat at every outdoor terrace and feel like you've already done "everything"? Then perhaps the answer is to see the city and the archipelago from the sea - but with a slightly more fun twist.
Strömma offers several tours that combine food, the archipelago and experiences in a slightly unexpected way:
- Pizza cruise in Stockholm – Pizza buffet on board while the boat glides along the city's quays for just over two hours.
- Guided tour to the porcelain city of Gustavsberg – From Strandvägen to Gustavsberg, with a porcelain museum, outlet stores and glass.
- Evening cruise in the archipelago with buffet – Three hours on M/S Gustafsberg VII with shrimp, salmon, herring, salads and dessert.
- Boat excursion to Badholmen outside Vaxholm – A living summer oasis – travel with Strömma's boat trip to Vaxholm from Stockholm.

Reflection of the week
The fact that nature experiences have become popular is nothing new, but it is interesting that hiking is so much more popular among the younger generation. We haven't visited Abisko by the way - have you? Do you agree that it is a romantic place?

Ditte says:
I certainly agree that Abisko is a romantic place. So both summer and winter and Lapporten are magnificent. Incredibly beautiful hikes. In the context of hiking, I also thought about Härjedalen; hiking, for example, from Funäsdalen or Tänndalen and further into Norway, towards Röros. The high coastal trail is also very beautiful. Everything about beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
London is a city I really like and have visited many times. But now I think visiting there is very expensive. Hotel prices and restaurants are expensive and then if you want to see a theater, musical or something else, it drags on.

Abisko is certainly a romantic place, especially on a beautiful day when the autumn colours have arrived and the mosquitoes have disappeared. A beautiful sunset on a sun-warmed cliff in Smögen is certainly not a bad idea either. It's fun but a bit unexpected that hiking is so popular among the younger generation.
