Things to do in Spain – our best tips
We have traveled around in Spain on several occasions, both on classic holidays and longer road trips with a camper. In Spain we have experienced everything from the beaches of the Canary Islands to lively cities like Barcelona and Valencia. The variety makes it possible to return to Spain time and time again.

25 things to see and do in Spain
1. Experience Barcelona
Barcelona is a city that we really like. Here, beach life and the pulse of the big city meet in a way that is hard to beat. You can walk along La Rambla and enjoy tapas or Catalan food in the Gothic Quarter. Not least, we appreciate Gaudi's delicious architecture, with masterpieces such as the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló.

Great tips about Spain and happily enough I have visited basically all the places you have included. Nice trips and your memories. Would love to do a tour of the entire Atlantic coast south. from San Sebastian and to the Portuguese border. So cool with fantastic nature.
I also recommend the island of La Gomera. Perfect to take the ferry over from Tenerife, either as a day trip or a longer stay.

I really love Spain, my second home country. Last year I brought a convertible from Sweden, the first trip that lasted two weeks took us from Valencia to Nazareth on the Portuguese Atlantic coast. On the way we visited places that were truly amazing, with mostly domestic tourism. Spain has so much more to offer than the places mentioned above. We traveled through the interior, very little traffic, almost no campers, still the month of July. Hot for sure but manageable. So the feeling of not having to worry about bad weather, a short rain shower during the entire trip was all.
Take a stab at the hotel chain "Parador", a unique, state-owned hotel chain in Spain that transforms historic buildings such as castles, monasteries, palaces and fortresses into luxury hotels. So worth a visit, dropping by for a café is enough. Strong recommendation for Parador Segovia, we treated ourselves to a night there. Very lovely 🙂
Other places we visited during the 2500 km long trip were Toledo, Salamanca, Cacerés. All amazing places with so much history and awesome architecture. So people, dare to leave the coast and explore the interior!

So many beautiful places. I've actually never been to Spain, except for the Canary Islands. So that country is still there to explore.
